‘입체사인’성형사인 제작기계·조각기 등 가공기계도 봇물

 

지난 호에서 이번 전시회의 가장 큰 비중을 차지했던 솔벤트장비를 중심으로 한 디지털프린팅 분야의 경향을 살펴본데 이어 이번 호에서는 전시회의 또 다른 축을 차지한 성형·채널사인 등 입체사인과 POP·디스플레이 분야를 살펴본다.

 

총 3개의 전시관 가운데 디지털프린팅 관련업체들이 집중된 1관을 제외한 나머지 2관과 3관에는 다양한 입체사인 관련제품들이 주류를 이뤘다.

 

다양한 규격과 디자인의 성형·채널사인 기성품과 성형기, 조각기 등 관련 제작기계 등이 대거 출품돼 실사출력과 함께 입체사인이 중국 간판문화의 중요한 축을 차지하고 있음을 가늠케 했다.

 

입체사인 가운데서도 특히 전시회에서 두드러지게 많이 눈에 띈 아이템은 성형사인 관련 제품들이다.

 

실제로 중국 상하이의 주요 도심만 둘러보더라도 국내에서는 아직까지 편의점, 패스트푸드업체 등 한정된 분야에만 접목되고 있는 성형사인이 중국에서는 일반점포에까지 두루 접목되는 등 성형사인이 뚜렷한 강세를 띠고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

 

이번 전시회에는 작은 돌출형의 성형사인부터 대형의 가로형 또는 지주형 성형사인까지 가지각색의 성형사인 기성품이 전시된 한편 성형사인 제조기계도 다수 출품돼 눈길을 끌었다.

 

이들 업체 대부분은 현장에서 직접 성형사인 제작 시연을 펼치며 참관객들의 시선 끌기에 나서는 한편 가격경쟁력을 무기로 활발한 홍보전을 펼치는 모습이었다.

 

채널사인의 출품도 두드러져 성형사인과 함께 입체사인의 양대 축을 이뤘다. 그랜드 캐년, 웰지인터내셔녈 그룹 등 LED소자부터 LED를 광원으로 채용한 채널사인 기성품까지를 토털로 선보인 업체들이 주류를 이뤘다.

 

조각기 업체들간의 경쟁도 불을 뿜었는데 연신 아크릴, 목재 등의 소재에 이미지, 로고, 문자를 조각하는 모습을 연출하며 참관객들의 발길을 붙들었다.
