행자부가 이른바 특별법광고물들에 대한 철거 단행에 돌입한지 3개월여가 지난 지금 고속도로변의 광고물들 실태를 보면 행자부의 조치가 특별법광고물만을 겨냥한 표적철거임이 여실히 드러나고 있다. 불법광고물 단속과 자연경관 및 교통안전 등을 명분으로 한 행자부의 강제철거로부터 죽는 광고물과 살아남는 광고물을 카메라에 담아봤다.

백판 일색인 주요 도로변의 야립광고물들. 법원의 철거중지 가처분으로 구조물 철거는 일단 면했지만 행자부의 압력을 받은 운영업체와 광고주들이 광고면을 자진철거, 흉한 모습을 보이고 있다.

1985년 ‘후지필름’ 네온광고가 빛을 발한 이후 22년간 옥상광고의 랜드마크로 기능해온 서울 신사역 사거리의 \'SKY\' 네온빌보드와 노량진 한국냉장빌딩의 옥상빌보드.

$1177659906215.gif\"$ 부 야립은 백판이 철거되고 철골만 남아 기금조성용 광고물의 참혹한 운명을 생생하게 보여준다.

법원에서 철거중지 가처분이 기각된 야립들은 광고면 뿐아니라 구조물까지 모두 사라지고 있다.

똑같은 형태와 위치지만 지자체들이 설치한 야립광고물은 그대로 서서 위용을 자랑하고 있다.

지자체 홍보와 상업광고가 결합된 야립광고물들도 제 자리를 굳건히 지키고 있다.

야립광고물이 강제 철거되던 시기에 새로 설치된 경부고속도로변의 광고물(왼쪽)과 서해안고속도로변의 광고물. 행자부는 교통위험과 경관을 이유로 기존 야립의 이격거리를 문제삼고 있지만 이들 광고물은 기존 야립보다도 이격거리가 훨씬 짧다.

야립이 강제철거되던 시기에 새로 경부고속도로변에 설치된 2개의 야립광고물. 설치 직후 허가절차상 하자와 특혜 의혹이 언론에까지 보도됐지만 그대로 유지되고 있다.

광고물의 설치 근거와 심의 등이 전혀 없이 무단 설치된 고속도로면의 이른바 주파수 광고물들. 바로 옆 기금조성용 야립광고물들이 행자부의 강제철거 철퇴를 맞고 사라지는 가운데서도 꿋꿋하게 살아남아 대조를 보이고 있다.

담장이나 가림막으로 위장한 고속도로변의 초대형 불법 광고물들도 특별법 야립광고물들과 달리 행자부의 강제철거를 면한채 광고기능을 다하고 있다.
